“Stress” is one of the words that is overused and undervalued simultaneously in the workplace. Stress has significant impact on employee engagement, productivity, retention, and almost any other measurement of effectiveness. Unreasonable and unregulated stress rarely has any positive value. Prolonged stress is detrimental to employee and organizational health 100% of the time.

Values are the foundation of an organization- the guiding light, if you will. You should be willing to hire and fire based on them.
What are your organization's values? No fair looking in your employee manual or running down the hall to check the plaque on the wall! Do you know what they mean? Can you explain them in behavioral terms? In other words, how does someone demonstrate them?
